The Sir Robert Thorburn Suite features recovered historic chairs, wrought-iron bed with matching lamps and furniture. A cozy room with ample natural light.
Sir Frederick Carter Suite
The Carter Suite is spacious enough to comfortably sleep a family of four, features in-room dining table, large whirlpool tub, and a huge, contoured walk-in closet.
Sir William Whiteway Suite
Featuring the most luxurious bathroom in the house, complete with stand-up shower boasting more than 20 jets, a Jacuzzi tub that can accommodate 2, and an antique captain’s shaving stand. Original furniture was purchased from the Watergate Hotel during the Nixon era. Ideal for a family of three.
Philip Francis Little Suite
Features an ultra-high four-poster bed, Newfoundland tartan stepping stool, and a pullout couch. The dresser in the room is original to Monroe House.
Walter Stanley Monroe Suite
Meeting room features an operational fireplace. All furniture has been specially chosen to match the beautiful, original carved mantle. Other highlights include antique brass kick plate and specially made genuine leather couch.
Sir Edward Patrick Morris Suite
The Sir Edward Patrick Morris Suite features a 100-year-old desk purchased in New York City and a King Sized Sleigh Bed, as well as original artwork by Gerard Squires.
Frederick C. Alderice Suite
The Frederick C. Alderdice Suite boasts a nouveau-traditional corner tub, hand-carved washbasin, and luxurious chaise-lounge.
